Jamie ~ Owner/ Director of Textile and Design

Jamie started this company, in Charlotte, NC., out of her love of dressing up her daughter and her muse, Millie.  She discovered her passion for combining interesting fabric designs and textures. Her goal for her business is to present original designs and showcase handmade, unique details, in limited release batches. She believes it's essential for each girl to embrace her inner whimsy, style up a fun dress, and just stop to twirl every once in awhile!  Jamie prides herself in providing local jobs and supporting the shop local culture. Made in the USA is very important to us!

Kerri ~ Creative Director

Kerri joined the Poppy Whitaker team in 2014 and brought with her a wealth of experience and knowledge of dressmaking, as well as, a true love of expression of individuality through fashion. She earned her bachelor of arts in fashion design at Appalachian State which led to a career in fashion merchandising.  She also designed couture wedding gowns before joining our team.  Her experience in pattern making and textile development make her a vital asset to the Poppy Whitaker team.
